Platform Terms

Please read these terms carefully before using UNBOXD.

1. Overview

UNBOXD is a clothing swap service that facilitates the exchange of pre-owned clothing items between users. By using our platform, you agree to the terms below.

2. Eligibility

  • Users must be 18 years or older.
  • Items submitted must belong to the user.

3. Item Submission

  • All items must be clean, in good condition, and free from damage.
  • We reserve the right to accept or reject any item.
  • Items that do not meet our standards will not be listed.

4. Verification Process

  • All items are inspected before being approved.
  • We aim to ensure quality but do not guarantee brand authenticity unless stated.

5. Swap Process

  • Users select an item and pay a flat fee (R250).
  • Payment covers logistics, handling, and platform service.
  • A swap is confirmed only after payment is received.

6. Delivery

  • We aim to deliver within reasonable timeframes.
  • Delivery times may vary depending on location.
  • Delays may occur due to courier or operational factors.

7. Liability

  • UNBOXD is not responsible for normal wear and tear of items.
  • We are not liable for courier delays beyond our control.

8. Submission Policy

All submitted items must accurately reflect their condition as shown in photos.

If an item is found to be significantly different upon inspection, UNBOXD reserves the right to reject the item.

In such cases:

  • The item will not be listed.
  • Return of the item will be at the sender’s cost.

9. Refund Policy

At UNBOXD, all items are carefully reviewed and verified before delivery.

If an item received is significantly different from its approved photos or description, you may request a refund.

To qualify:

  • The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Clear supporting photos must be provided.

If approved:

  • The full service fee (R250) will be refunded.
  • Return collection will be arranged at no cost to the customer.

Please note:

  • Minor signs of wear are expected with pre-owned items.
  • Refunds are not issued for fit, preference, or styling reasons.

10. Changes to Terms

UNBOXD reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
