1. How does UNBOXD work?
Browse items on our platform, choose what you love, submit your item for approval, and once verified — we handle the rest, including delivery.
2. What if my item is worth less?
We'll let you know. You can either send a different item, pay a small top-up, or cancel for a refund (minus courier cost).
3. What if my item is worth more?
That's fine — you're being generous! The swap still works, or we can help you find a higher-value piece.
4. What does the R250 fee cover?
• Collection from your door
• Quality verification
• Delivery to your door
5. What kind of clothing can I submit?
We accept:
• High-quality, well-maintained items
• Recognisable brands or stylish pieces
We do not accept:
• Damaged or heavily worn items
6. How long does delivery take?
Delivery typically takes:
• 2–5 business days locally
• 3–7 business days nationally
7. Can I get my item back if it’s not approved?
Yes — we will communicate next steps, including return or alternative options.
8. Can I swap more than one item?
Yes, you can submit multiple items and swap multiple times.
9. Are items cleaned before delivery?
We expect all submitted items to be clean, and we conduct quality checks before delivery.
10. What if I don’t like the item I receive?
All swaps are final unless the item is significantly different from what was shown.
11. Do you operate nationwide?
Yes, UNBOXD operates across South Africa.
12. How do I start?
Simply browse items, then DM us or use the website to begin your swap.
